WEEK TWENTY first week back after xmas break

This was one of the most challenging weeks so far. The plan was for Karen to bring the kidletts to my house because Mike's schedule changed and it would make it easier on me to be home to take care of Tom's medications. That plan went right out the window. The kidletts did not get enough sleep so we went to plan B. I go to the kids in the morning to let them get some sleep and then come take care of Tom after breakfast.
Sophie decided that it was lots of fun to spend time with Mom and Dad on Christmas Vacation and that she didn't want things to change. She did not want Mom and Dad to leave for work and didn't mind throwing huge fits for me when they left. This week Sophie has started a new schedule at preschool. Dad is taking her at 7 am on Tuesday and Thursday and Mom is picking her up after she gets home from work. That helps me to be able to be at the house to take care of Tom. Sophie is having a little bit of trouble letting Dad leave but adjusts at school pretty quick.

Alex loves that Sophie is at school because he gets me all to himself and when it's Grandpa's day off he is in heaven getting both of us to himself. After her morning meltdown Sophie did manage to have a good time.

When Grandpa is around they both want ALL of his attention.

This was Alex's first day with Grandma and Grandpa without Sophie. I think he loved all the attention.

Here comes trouble. This boy wants to be outside ALL the time. It won't be long before he can get the dead bolt open.
